Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) – Main Department of Public Administration strengthened its partnership with the Local Government Unit through a coordination meeting for the implementation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Sustainable Livelihood Program (DSWD-SLP) intended for two beneficiary associations in the municipality.

Following the conduct of the orientation for the program beneficiaries, Dr. Jomartin C. Limson and Dr. Michelle B. Baco, together with Mr. Jay De Los Santos, PESO Manager, visited the LGU office to personally coordinate and present the details of the said initiative.

The program, implemented through the partnership of NISU-Main Campus- Public Administration Department and DSWD-SLP, aims to provide livelihood opportunities and sustainable support to participating associations in the community.

Through the continued collaboration between the academic institution and the local government, the initiative is expected to further strengthen community development efforts and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for local residents.
